The Bowling Foundation - Received Funding

2008 Grant Recipients Announced
The Bowling Foundation is pleased to announce the following schools have been chosen as recipients for the 2008 Bowler’s ed In-School Bowling Teacher Grants:

Argonia, Kansas
Bethany Christian Schools
Goshen, Indiana
Boardman Local School District Youngstown, Ohio
Ceres Elementary School Bluefield, West Virginia
Clayton Elementary School Clayton, Delaware
Double File Trail Elementary School Round Rock, Texas
Esperanza Middle School Lexington Park, Maryland
Lancaster Central School District Lancaster, New York
Lindenhurst School District Lindenhurst, New York
Peru Central School District Peru, New York
School of the Incarnation Gambrills, Maryland
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School Edmond, Oklahoma
St. Joseph School of Cottleville St. Charles, Missouri

These schools have each been granted $1,395, which will be allocated as follows:

• Six Deluxe Carpet Bowling Lanes
• Six Sets of Weighted Bowling Pins
• Six 4 lb. Rubberized Bowling Balls
• Six Nylon Carrying Bags

The bowling equipment will be purchased on their behalf by The Bowling Foundation and shipped to each school from Metro Ltd. Sports, the official equipment provider for the Bowler’s ed In-School Bowling program. Everyone should receive their new equipment no later than August 30th.

 

The Bowling Foundation, formerly the BPAA Educational Foundation, is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization and is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards as outlined in the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Code of Ethics and the Donor’s Bill of Rights.
 
**Certification for Authorized Organizational Representative is required to certify the accuracy of the statements in the proposal, as well as to certify that the organization agrees to accept the obligation to comply with award terms and conditions.
